Decatur, AL

BCA’s work for 609 Social represents a comprehensive renovation of a 121-year-old commercial structure in the heart of historic Bank Street in Decatur, AL. Nearly every component of the building required either replacement or significant restoration, making this a true top-to-bottom redevelopment, one of BCA’s specialties.

The scope of the construction was an open-concept restaurant and fresh provisions market, including a raw bar, a full-service cocktail bar, and dining spaces. Original elements like exposed brick were preserved and complemented with industrial piping, a neutral color palette, and large-scale graphic artwork—resulting in a warm, inviting environment.
